What We Do & How We Help
Since 1966, Polk Soil & Water Conservation District has worked to conserve and enhance the soils, water, and wildlife habitat of Polk County, Oregon. Through education and technical assistance, we support farmers, forest managers, landowners, and the broader community in becoming effective stewards of the natural resources we all rely on. Our work is rooted in collaboration, and we are especially honored to partner with the region’s tribes, whose traditional ecological knowledge and enduring stewardship are vital to local conservation. Together, we’re building a future where people and the land thrive side by side.
